While Deja adores improv performances, and has a vast collection of costumes and props to suit most environments, her passion resides in her very slow process of act development. Taking 1-3yrs from concept to stage, through character breakdowns, research, mentorships, and many hours of scheming and rehearsing, the acts below are her most celebrated to date.
PIGGY
Slow, sensual, and intense, PIGGY is a story about tension and release.
Originally created for the IvaFiero Productions, Pretty Haute Machine: A Burlesque Tribute to NIN, PIGGY has since appeared in various showcases around the world.
In 2022, PIGGY was a semi-finalist at IBC and in 2024, PIGGY competed at the Croatia Fringe & Burlesque Festivals.
Jett Adore says "This act is a masterpiece. It was a challenge and a treat to offer pearls to your glorious swine. Oink f$!@kin OINK! And I mean that."
Talk
Another slow and sensual tease by Deja Louve, TALK is a classic robe and fan dance to an unassuming track from the 90s.
Created with intention and passion, the buildup is intense and the wait worth while.
TALK has appeared at Isle of Tease, Queen City, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Whitehorse, and Halifax Burlesque Festivals.
In 2025, TALK won "Most Sass" at the Cabin Fever Burlesque Festival with a note by Cherry On Top- "That was a master class in sizzle and holding space!"

The Babadook
The Babadook is a powerful take on depression, queer expression, and creative liberation.
Babadook has Virtually appeared in showcases in Montreal and at the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, 2025.
Available as a Virtual Act, and for live performances.
Fitting for PRIDE, Halloween, comedy, and campy horror themed shows.
Pity the Fool
Pity the Fool was made possible, from costume to coaching, by the Columbia Basin Trust's Art Funding to Communities Grant.
Pity the Fool was accepted to compete at the 2023 Panama Burlesque Festival and headlined the first large Poetry Burlesque show in Kelowna, BC.
Revelator
In her first year of performing, Deja Louve's Revelator act won 1st Runner Up at the Edmonton Burlesque Festival, Bunny Competition 2014 and was waitlisted for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival in 2015.
Revelator received rave reviews at the Seattle Marathong in 2015 and at the 2019 BurlyCon Peer Reviews.
The Mark
Created for the IvaFiero Productions: Pretty Haute Machine, The Mark made appearances in Seattle, and at the 2016 Edmonton Burlesque Festival.
Whatever
Deja's debut act "Whatever" closed the opening night of the 2014 Edmonton Burlesque Festival and traveled to the 2014 Ottawa International Burlesque Festival.
